Recovery & Wellbeing Coach

Jenny Betteridge

Recovery is about more than just stopping something - it’s about stepping into a more authentic way of relating and living.

I work with people navigating recovery from addiction, trauma, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. My coaching approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and deeply human, helping individuals reconnect with themselves and build a life that feels aligned with their values.

My work spans all kinds of addictions, including substances, food, work, sex and love, codependency, and overspending. With eight years of personal recovery experience, I understand that healing isn’t a straight line - it’s a process of learning, unlearning, and integrating new ways of being.

Often, that journey starts with self-care - not just as a routine, but as a foundation for long-term change.

I trained through an ICF-accredited programme at Henley Business School and went on to specialise as a trauma-informed coach with Moving the Human Spirit, the only ICF-accredited programme of its kind in the world. I also lead our work with corporate clients, helping organisations foster healthier, more compassionate, and recovery-informed cultures that prioritise wellbeing and sustainable performance.

I offer coaching online, helping people take meaningful steps towards lasting change - improving emotional balance, finding new ways to connect and grow, and rediscovering a sense of purpose. My work is rooted in the belief that recovery is not just about what we leave behind, but about the life we create in its place - one that feels authentic, fulfilling, and our own.

“Real help, professionally or personally, consists of listening to people, of paying respectful attention to people so that they can access their own ideas first.”
