Person-Centred Pluralistic Psychotherapist
Tareq Kubaisi
I am a qualified psychotherapist trained at the Metanoia Institute in London, holding a BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Pluralistic Counselling. My approach is grounded in the person-centred tradition while also drawing on a pluralistic framework. This means I place your unique experiences, values, and needs at the heart of the work, tailoring therapy in a way that feels right for you, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework, which ensures a commitment to professional standards, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
I have considerable experience supporting individuals facing a range of life challenges, including addiction, trauma, PTSD, combat stress, parenting support, and relationship difficulties. My background includes working with adults from diverse walks of life, including those in high-pressure environments, those recovering from long-term emotional pain, and those seeking meaning and connection amidst complex personal histories.
My specialism is addiction in all its forms, alcohol, drugs, prescription medication, sex, work and many others. I work with a 12-Step model alongside a psychotherapeutic model.
Whether you are struggling with a specific issue or feel lost and unsure where to begin, I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore what matters to you.
